MIET AFRICA’s regional programme, FutureLife-Now! will provide emergency COVID-19 support to vulnerable learners and their families and a component of the support package is food. Therefore, MIET AFRICA requires a service provider to supply food packs to learners and their families from 10 FutureLife-Now! schools in Lesotho. Training Co-ordinator: Primary School Mathematics Specialist | Sanlam Blue Ladder Schools Mathematics Improvement Programme

MIET AFRICA, in partnership with the KZN Department of Education, supported by the Sanlam Foundation, seeks to appoint an experienced mathematics education specialist to coordinate and lead the implementation of an Intermediate and Senior Phase (IP and SP) mathematics support programme at 18 primary schools in and around Durban. The appointed person will be responsible for the development and support of maths teachers with the

objective of raising the level of learner performance in mathematics. This is a Durban-based position which requires an experienced mathematics teacher/trainer and school-support person who is thoroughly familiar with the CAPS curriculum (mathematics) and with working in South African public schools. This is a seven-month contract position commencing on 1 June 2020, with the possibility of a further 12-month extension. Click here for application details.

Vacancies: FutureLife-Now! COVID 19 Emergency Response In-Country Coordinator: Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe

MIET AFRICA seeks to employ In-Country Coordinators to take responsibility for the effective implementation of the FutureLife-Now! COVID 19 Emergency Response.  FutureLife-Now! is a regional school-based programme aimed at reducing new HIV infections and increasing ART adherence amongst young people in the SADC region. The programme will provide assistance to that country’s COVID 19 response through the provision of emergency COVID 19 equipment and the dissemination of factually accurate COVID 19 information.  Each post is a seven month contract position, commencing 1 June 2020 and ending 31 December 2020.
