The Barclays ReadytoWork Programme aims to enable young people to build the skills they require to complete the critical transition from education into the world of work. Barclays contracted MIET AFRICA to reach and facilitate the programme in schools and technical vocational education & training colleges in four provinces in South Africa (Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape), by delivering blended learning solutions incorporating digital online and face-to-face training.

The ReadytoWork Project was funded by Barclays, and was the natural successor the Absa Foundation-funded Learn to Earn Project.
