Description
The programme aimed to drive youth climate action through targeted interventions e.g. radio programmes, youth-led dialogues and competitions.
The objectives included:

- Provide an effective platform for youth across borders to engage around their challenges and responses to climate change through the medium of the radio.
- Raise awareness and improve knowledge related to climate change to promote youth-led climate action.
- Build the capacity of youth, schools and communities for climate action.
Radio Programme
Three countries – Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe aired climate change topics with 20 episodes and a total of 108 broadcasts. Each episode was a 30-minute weekly program aired on the local national radio stations which included 3 languages – English and two additional vernacular languages per country. (Malawi-English, Chichewa, Tumbuka; Zambia-English, Bemba, Nyanja; Zimbabwe-English, Shona, Ndebele).

Television documentaries
Two 30-minute documentaries were broadcast in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, both in English and in the vernacular of the three countries with a total of 18 broadcasts.

Youth Talk-Climate Action
Countries: Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe
During this period, all four countries aired radio programmes on national radio with a total of 112 episodes of 30-minutes each.
Malawi aired in English and Chichewa mixed – 16 episodes and 16 broadcasts
Zambia aired in English, Bemba and Nyanja – 16 episodes and 48 broadcasts
Zimbabwe aired in English, Shona and Ndebele – 16 episodes and 32 broadcasts
Lesotho aired in English and Sesotho mixed – 16 episodes and 16 broadcasts
