MIET AFRICA’s regional programme, FutureLife-Now! is an intervention designed to contribute to the reduction of new HIV infections and the increase in ART adherence among young people in the SADC Region. Its goal is to promote greater self-confidence and hope for the future among young people in the SADC region by advancing the region’s priority goals and commitments – especially those related to education, health, gender equality and climate change. The programme requires the services of an established and suitably experienced video production company to shoot short video clips on key programme themes in two Southern African countries. Terms of Reference for Procurement of External Audit | Service for the Period 2021
MIET AFRICA’s Cooperation partner wishes to engage the services of an audit firm for the purpose of auditing the FoRCESA – Frontiers of Resistance – Championing Children’s Rights across ESA Project, as stipulated in the agreement between MIET AFRICA and Save the Children International. The audit shall be carried out in accordance with international audit standards issued by IAASB. The audit shall be carried out by an external, independent and qualified auditor. MIET AFRICA seeks to procure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced auditing firm for its External Audit for the service period 2021. Whilst the Terms of Reference (ToR) are for the 2021 year, the Trust’s Audit and Risk Committee has the authority to recommend the appointment, on a year to year basis, for a maximum period of five years. Terms of Reference || Procurement of External Audit
A Cooperation partner of MIET AFRICA wishes to engage the services of an audit firm. The audit will be carried out in accordance with international audit standards issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, by an external, independent and qualified auditor. In addition to auditing the financial report, the assignment also includes an assessment in accordance with a special agreement described further in the Terms of Reference. Terms of Reference || Video Documenting the Impact of COVID-19 on Young People in the SADC Region
MIET AFRICA is conducting a research study that investigates the impact of COVID-19 on young people in the SADC and East Africa regions. As part of the study dissemination package, MIET AFRICA seeks the services of a reputable and experienced full-service video production company to produce a video that captures the impact of COVID-19 on young people, highlighting real life stories and experiences. In this way, the study findings will be made more accessible and interesting.
The video must tell the stories of the study participants, reflecting how COVID-19 has impacted their lives. Proposed countries to be included in the video include Malawi, Zambia, and Namibia; however, this is still to be finalized. Planning would need to commence in December 2020, with filming taking place in January 2021. The deadline for completion is 28 February 2021. Click here for the full ToR.
