MIET AFRICA has developed an advocacy brief to motivate ministries of education across Africa to prioritize the transformation of their education systems within a 21st century learning framework in order to realize children’s civil and political rights in and through education, and in so doing, lay the foundations of sustainable development for the continent.

I hold a high regard for what the organisation”s mandate is all about. In the previous centuries the African child”s civil and political rights were not infused much in education, let alone discussed in forums that would develop policies to change the status quo. This a welcome change particularly for children and youth from poor communities , those who live with disabilities and those who have been excluded in sex education.
