MIET AFRICA requires a service provider to supply and install solar power to 10 FutureLife-Now! secondary schools in Malawi. Malawi’s growing population contributes to an increasingly energy-stressed country. The National Energy Policy attributes an estimated 93% of total energy demand to biomass energy. The supply of 320 MW installed generation capacity falls short on the connected demand which leads to frequent load shedding. As a result, the FutureLife-Now! programme seeks to ensure that solar power is supplied and installed at the 10 FutureLife-Now! schools. Click here for the full ToR and submission details.
