It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our colleague and friend Sefora Makepe-Tsiu. Sefora worked in Lesotho as the FutureLife-Now! In-County Coordinator. In the six months Sefora worked with MIET AFRICA she demonstrated all the traits of a true MIET African – professional, passionate and committed. Her dedication to the programme and to improving the lives of children and youth were evident in her work and the relationships she established with schools, youth facilitators, the Ministry of Education and partners.
Sefora lived life to the full, always laughing and sharing stories. She will be sorely missed but her work will impact her community for years to come. We send our deepest condolences to Sefora’s husband, children, mother, family and friends.
PHOMOLA KA KGOTSO NGWANESO!
May her humble soul rest in eternal peace. She was my neighbor and we shared some information on HIV and AIDS funding and we would have started writing a proposal now in 2020.
She will surely be missed
May Her Soul rest in Peace. We will always miss Her Smilling Face
