MIET AFRICA was recently invited by Norcros SA, through Tile Africa, to visit four primary schools in Gauteng to conduct WASH Training. This is part of Norcros SA educational programme to educate learners on how to safely use and take care of their school toilets.
Norcros SA started a corporate social investment project in 2017 to refurbish ablution facilities in under – resourced schools. MIET AFRICA’s training facilitators conducted the training to over 2000 learners, and provided materials to schools in what has been described as a very successful initiative.
“The material used for the programme was fun for the children and very easy to understand,” said Norcros SA’s Khanyisile Maseko. “The facilitators did a marvellous job in engaging with the children and keeping them engaged.”
