Following a successful climate change radio series that provided a platform for discussion around the impact of climate change on countries in the SADC region, a two-part television production Our Changing Climate: our Time to Act Now! – launches this week. The production – developed in partnership with MIET AFRICA, the UN CC: Learn Secretariat, UNITAR, and pro-active environmental ministries in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, showcases innovative homegrown responses to the threat of climate change in these three Southern African countries. Featuring young climate change activists who share what they are doing to improve their environment, the television production will be broadcast in English, Nyanja, Bemba, Shona, Ndebele and Chichewa.
